# [Organization] - Organization Information

This page explains how to view an organization’s information (Organization Name and Organization ID) in Contentstack and how to use the Transfer Ownership option. It is intended for organization owners/admins who need to access org details or transfer ownership.

## Organization Information

Organization Information page provides you with information about **Organization Name** and the **Organization ID** of the Organization, along with the **Transfer Ownership** option.

To access the Organization Info for your [Organization](/docs/owners-and-admins/about-organizations), perform the following steps:
- Log in to your [Contentstack account](https://www.contentstack.com/login).
- Select the Organization from the dropdown on the header and click on the “Org Admin” icon in the left navigation panel.Or, you can simply click on the “Org Admin” cog beside the Organization that you intend to open.
- Click on **Info** tab to access the section.

**Note:** The **Organization Name** and **Organization ID** details cannot be modified. To modify these details, you can contact our [Support](mailto:support@contentstack.com) team.

The **Transfer Ownership** button lets you transfer the ownership of the Organization to any other user. To do this, click on the **Transfer Ownership** button and enter the email address of the user you wish to transfer ownership to.

This will send an email invitation to the user to accept ownership of the Organization.

**Warning**: Once the user accepts the invitation, you will be assigned the “[Member](/docs/owners-and-admins/organization-roles#organization-member)” role, with access to only the stacks that you have created or that were shared with you.

## Common questions

### Can I change the Organization Name or Organization ID myself?
No. **Note:** The **Organization Name** and **Organization ID** details cannot be modified. To modify these details, you can contact our [Support](mailto:support@contentstack.com) team.

### What happens after I transfer ownership?
An email invitation is sent to the user to accept ownership of the Organization.

### What role will I have after the new owner accepts?
**Warning**: Once the user accepts the invitation, you will be assigned the “[Member](/docs/owners-and-admins/organization-roles#organization-member)” role, with access to only the stacks that you have created or that were shared with you.

### Where do I find the Organization Info section?
Select the Organization from the dropdown on the header and click on the “Org Admin” icon in the left navigation panel (or the “Org Admin” cog beside the Organization), then click on **Info** tab to access the section.
