# [Automations guides and connectors] - Delete Step

This page explains how to delete a step in Automation Hub guides and connectors. It is intended for developers configuring action steps and should be used when you need to remove an existing step from an automation.

## Delete Step

To delete a step, perform the steps given below:
- Click the **Configure Action Step** tab (in our case, **Transform**).
- Click the three vertical dots, then click the **Delete** **Step** icon.
- Confirm your action by clicking **Delete** again.
- You can also delete the step from the configured action as shown below:

## Common questions

### Can I undo a deleted step?
No. If you delete a step, you must add and configure it again.

### Where is the Delete Step option located?
It is available from the three vertical dots menu on the **Configure Action Step** tab.

### Do I need to confirm the deletion?
Yes. You must confirm your action by clicking **Delete** again.
