# [Drafts and Auto Save] - Enable or Disable Drafts and Auto Save

This page explains how Stack Administrators can enable or disable Drafts and Auto Save for entries in a Contentstack stack. It is intended for administrators managing stack settings and should be used when configuring how entry edits are saved during content authoring.

## Enable or Disable Drafts and Auto Save

**Note**: Drafts and Auto Save is currently part of an Early Access Program and may not be available to all users. Contact the Contentstack [support](mailto:support@contentstack.com) team for more information.

Stack Administrators can control whether **Drafts and Auto Save** is available for entries in a stack.

When enabled, Contentstack automatically saves entry changes as drafts while users edit content. This helps prevent data loss and supports collaborative editing.

To enable or disable Drafts and Auto Save, log in to your [Contentstack account](https://www.contentstack.com/login), and perform the following steps:
- Navigate to your [stack](/docs/developers/set-up-stack/about-stack) and click **Entries** or use the shortcut key “E” (for both Windows and Mac users).
- Click **Settings** and select **Entries**.
- Enable or disable the **Drafts and Auto Save** option.
- **Save** your changes.

The selected setting applies to all entries in the stack and determines whether entry changes are automatically saved as drafts while users edit content.

**Note**: Drafts and Auto Save applies only to entry editing. Other components, such as content types, require manual saves.
